2024 MISSION GOAL
(OUR GOAL)
In May, June, July of 2025, UPC is raising money for TEAMWORK AFRICA. The mission of TEAMWORK AFRICA is to partner with Liberian believers and churches to meet the vital spiritual, physical, and social needs in their local communities.
Our primary goal at UPC is to provide financial help to build wells in communities that have no clean water and provide scholarships to students for a quality Christian education to promising, dedicated and impoverished students. They call them "Starfish Kids". TEAMWORK AFRICA is also working on village transformation, school building improvements, agricultural improvement programs, and women empowerment programs.
We have envelopes to place your special TEAMWORK AFRICA offering into the gold offering plate in the back of the church. The envelopes are in the literature rack on the wall in the front entry of the church. You can also put money directly into the gold offering plate.
In 2023 UPC collected $2065.00 for TEAMWORK AFRICA.
In 2024 UPC collected $4972.00 for TEAMWORK AFRICA.
The Talking Bibles ministry provides and places Talking Bibles in homes and in areas around the world where people cannot read. They network with local pastors and evangelists for shepherding and follow-up.
Talking Bibles reach nonreaders who have never heard about God AND provide God’s Word to Christians who cannot read.
Talking Bibles International partners with hundreds of missionaries, pastors, and evangelists to distribute the Talking Bibles and follow up with answering questions and shepherding new believers. These pastors and evangelists work with dozens of different people groups.

The Christmas Joy Offering has been a cherished Presbyterian tradition since the 1930s. The Offering distributes gifts equally to the Assistance Program of the Board of Pensions and to Presbyterian-related schools and colleges equipping communities of color. The Assistance Program provides critical financial support to church workers and their families. Presbyterian-related schools and colleges provide education and leadership development while nurturing racial and ethnic heritage. This has been a Presbyterian commitment for nearly 140 years.
