Our congregation has been meeting in the same building since 1864.  We are a small family-oriented congregation where worship is uncomplicated and Christ centered with both traditional and contemporary music.  As Presbyterians, we have a special emphasis on biblical literacy and education.

Pastor Rick Newswanger has been serving at UPC since 2003.   Rick's wife, Meg, is the pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Maple Plain.

Although our congregation is part of the Presbyterian Church, USA (PCUSA), Rick is a Lutheran (ELCA) pastor with a Master of Divinity degree from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago and a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia.
